Academy of Social Dance is proud to introduce Dance for Kids, a new and innovative music and dance program for children ages 5 – 12. Our esteemed studio, awarded top studio in 2018 in the World Dance sport Series, is dedicated to sharing our passion for dance with the next generation.

Now is the perfect time to let your child discover the wonderful world of Ballroom Dancing! Academy of Social Dance is offering weekly group classes and private instruction for kids age 5-12. We work closely with parents to create a fun, productive and rewarding experience which allows each child to develop and grow individually. No prior dance experience is necessary! Dance is an exciting way for children to develop important social skills that lead to success both at school and beyond. We also offer youth dance competition programs.  Whether your child is interested in learning to dance for fun or wants to compete – we have a program to help them achieve their goals.

Kid’s dancing is a fun and easy introduction to music and dance.  The program teaches rhythm and timing with dance and creative movement. Students will be learning basic dance skills through dance movement, dance and music games, and the introduction of popular social dances. Students may learn basics to Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Swing, Salsa, Rumba, Cha Cha, Hustle, Polka and more.

Competitive Ballroom Dance Program

Academy of Social Dance also specializes in competitive dancing training.

Children will be taught the technical aspects of ballroom dancing and will also be trained physically through strength and endurance exercises. Whether or not the child is dancing with a teacher or a fellow student, he/she will be fully prepared to compete from learning proper dance technique to being properly dressed and groomed. The instructors at Academy of Social Dance will be there at the competitions to coach and encourage your child to perform to the best of their abilities.
